VOLUNTEER PARK AMPHITHEATER
The new amphitheater at Volunteer Park replaces an aging outdoor stage to better support cultural events through the performing arts. In partnership with the Volunteer Park Trust and Seattle Parks and Recreation, the new amphitheater  celebrates the historic Olmsted landscape while providing a new stage, backstage, spectator areas, accessible pathways, restrooms and related sitework. As a legacy Olmsted Park, Volunteer Park lives up to the Olmsted Brothers’ original vision of an open space for all people. Completed by Chris Jones, as Principal at Walker Macy, prior to founding Groundswell.
