HEMMINGSON CENTER
The John J. Hemmingson Center is a campus gateway building and a transformational step in creating a Gonzaga community that reinforces the institution’s “whole and rigorous” vision for student development. The building plan grew out of the sites prominent location as the new heart of the campus. Specific program elements are placed at several exterior spaces creating multiple gathering spaces that celebrate the campus community. Each of these spaces are dynamic and interactive places where students, faculty and staff will discover and connect with new people and ideas. Completed by Chris Jones, as an Associate at Walker Macy, prior to founding Groundswell.
