SKINNY BEACH MASTER PLAN
Located on the eastern tip of St. Thomas, Skinny Beach boasts expansive views of Great Bay and the Caribbean. The park is a beloved community gathering space but has been constructed incrementally and without a comprehensive vision. The current beach also lacks cohesive organization, a sense of arrival and a variety of organized social spaces. Groundswell is working with the Water Point Board of Directors to develop a bold and holistic vision to allow for greater cohesion of the waterfront site while providing more opportunities for recreation and respite. This master planning effort presents an exciting opportunity to conceptualize the park in its entirety while envisioning a more resilient waterfront park.
