MARINA BEACH PARK MASTER PLAN
Marina Beach Park is a highly used and beloved waterfront park providing some of the most striking views of the Olympic Mountains. Our master planning effort sought to redevelop the park to better serve growing community needs and accommodate the daylighting of Willow Creek. Given the community’s high regard for the current park character, the Master Plan provides improvements to existing facilities while incorporating new park elements that maintain and enhance the connection to the Sound. Elements of the Master Plan identified by the community include: parking lot reconfiguration; new overlooks and lawn areas; potential concession areas; restrooms; upgraded play area; upgraded benches, picnic tables and BBQs; improved ADA accessibility; a loop trail system, including two new pedestrian bridges connecting the park across Willow Creek; personal watercraft staging and launching area; bicycle racks; fencing; and retaining the existing beach/driftwood and off-leash area.
