CIVIC CENTER PLAYFIELD
Edmonds Civic Center Playfield is a new downtown park for the City of Edmonds featuring active and passive recreation, a petanque grove, skate park, tennis, pickle ball, walking paths, soccer field and a 1/3 mile track. A central focus of the project was to accommodate existing and future events: the site is currently the location of numerous local festivals including Taste of Edmonds and musical concerts. A second phase of the project will strengthen the connection to downtown by redeveloping Sixth Avenue into a market promenade to better support markets and festival events.
